Course overview

The “French Beginner A1 Course” is designed for students to improve their skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary in French language. The “French Beginner A1 Course” emphasizes ACTIVE command of German, not passive knowledge.

Your goal is not simply to study the grammar and vocabulary, but to acquire skills necessary to use them in a linguistically and culturally appropriate way. By the end of the course, you will be able to carry on a (basic) daily conversation with German people.
